  • Calling All Starr Runners: IICF Virtual Charity Run is taking place October 10-17!

    Runners and walkers across the country are invited to participate in the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) Virtual Charity Run taking place October 10-17, 2020 to kick off their annual Week of Giving.

    Register today to join the fun. 
    All entrants will receive a Starr Insurance Companies T shirt. Enter before Tuesday, October 6th to get your shirt before race week!  To participate, we are kindly requesting a minimum donation of $25.00 and the Starr Matching Grants program will match employee contributions over $100! All donations will support the COVID-19 Crisis: IICF Children's Relief Fund benefitting organizations championing children at risk of food insecurity, educational disruption, family homelessness and other circumstances exacerbated by the pandemic.     For over 25 years the IICF has supported hundreds of worthy charities with volunteer hours and grants to enrich their communities. Employees are invited to sign up and volunteer for some of these worthy efforts, or consider your own charitable effort such as donating to a local food bank:

    Operation Gratitude: This program provides letters of encouragement and gratitude to deployed troops, veterans, first responders and wounded heroes.

    Cards of Hope: Sends cards of hope, testimonials, and devotional messages to those affected by cancer.

    Love For Our Elders: Messages are sent to elders who are fighting loneliness and isolation.

    Hire Heroes USA: Volunteer to provide mock interviews to help get veterans prepped for entering the workforce following their service.
