Volunteer Harvest Day with America’s Grow-a-Row logo
Join us for a meaningful morning on the farm with America’s Grow-a-Row (AGAR), where volunteers help harvest fresh produce that directly supports local hunger relief efforts.

What to Expect:
- 8:45 AM (Arrival): Volunteers are encouraged to arrive early and bring a light breakfast to fuel up before the day begins.
- 9:00 AM (Kickoff): The event starts promptly with a brief overview of AGAR’s mission and the vital role volunteers play in addressing food insecurity.
- 9:15 AM – 12:00 PM (Harvest Time): Work together in the fields to harvest fresh crops. You’ll end the day hearing how many pounds of produce your group helped gather—a rewarding and exciting moment!
- 12:00 PM (Lunch, optional): Stay to enjoy lunch at the farm’s picnic tables.

Important Info:
- Farm Location: You’ll be assigned to either our Pittstown or Milford farm (only minutes apart) based on need. Final location and crop details will be shared via email 3–5 days prior.
- Registration: Approximately 2 weeks before your event, you'll receive a reminder email with a team registration link and waiver.

What to Bring:
- Weather-appropriate clothing you don’t mind getting dirty
- A filled reusable water bottle (refill station available)
- Sturdy closed-toe shoes
- Garden gloves (or use disposable ones provided)
