  • Thank you for committing your time to help end hunger—we’re excited to welcome you to the Hunger Action Center! To ensure a smooth experience, all adults must register using the link below before arriving. Registration ensures you receive important shift details and complete the required volunteer release form.

    ⏰ Please arrive 10 minutes early. Orientation begins promptly at the start of the shift. Late arrivals may be unable to serve.

    PLEASE NOTE: Monday, October 5th,any slots no one has registered for will be automatically released to the public.

    Dress Code:
    Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes required (sneakers or work boots recommended)
    Not allowed: flip flops, Crocs, sandals, or heels
    Wear comfortable clothing, you don’t mind getting a little messy.

    Youth Volunteer Requirements:
    Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
    To register a youth volunteer, please register yourself for the shift first. Then email us at volunteers@acfb.org with the name and age of the youth.
    Youth groups must turn in completed youth liability waivers in advance of the shift. Waivers may only be signed by parents/legal guardians.
    Chaperone ratios for youth groups: Ages 8–11: 1 adult per 4 children | Ages 12–17: 1 adult per 8 youth

    About the Hunger Action Center:

    The Hunger Action Center provides a great hands-on experience in a diverse and social atmosphere. Groups and individual volunteers come together to inspect, sort, and pack quality grocery donations to prepare for distribution to nearly 700 partner agencies across Georgia.
