United Through Reading connects military families who are separated — for deployment or military assignment — by providing the bonding experience of shared storytime.

Join IICF and The Zenith assemble “pre-deployment” kits for their service member clients and kids.

United Through Reading was founded in 1989 to keep military families reading together, no matter the distance between them. These stories ease the stress of time apart due to military duty, maintain positive emotional connections, and cultivate a love of reading and early childhood literacy.
