  • Communities In Schools (CIS) of Chicago surrounds students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and succeed in life. Our evidence-based model is proven to help keep students on track to graduate high school prepared for success.

    Students will receive a brief tour of CNA's space, then CIS of Chicago will facilitate a goal-setting activity for you and up to 30 of your colleagues. We’ll coordinate the logistics and activities, making it a light lift for your team.
    11:00 a.m. Students take a tour and learn more about your organization. 
    11:00 – 11:30 a.m. Company mentors (15-30 individuals) learn more about CIS of Chicago in the conference room and hear what to expect. (This happens at the same time as students
    are taking a company tour).
    11:45 a.m. Students and tour guides join mentors in the conference room.
    11:50 a.m. Group icebreaker facilitated by CIS of Chicago staff.
    12:00 p.m. CIS of Chicago staff lead the mentors and students through a goal-setting activity in small groups.
    12:30 p.m. Shared lunch and conversations among participants.
    1:00 p.m. Visit concludes.
    Lunch will be provided.
