Join the IICF Houston Chapter for our annual National Veteran Clean-Up Project during the Month of Giving. Volunteers will come together at Houston National Cemetery to honor the men and women who served our country by helping care for their final resting place.
Participants will assist cemetery staff with beautification projects including washing headstones, weeding and mulching garden areas, and supporting general grounds maintenance. These efforts help preserve the dignity and appearance of the cemetery while paying tribute to the sacrifices of our nation’s veterans. Volunteer clean-up projects like this play an important role in maintaining national cemeteries and honoring those who served.
The morning will begin with a brief welcome before volunteers move to assigned areas to begin working. Lunch will be provided for all volunteers and cemetery staff, generously donated by Texas Mutual Insurance Company and the IICF Houston Chapter.
