Volunteer with the Woodlawn Food Security, Health, and Human Services Project this upcoming Saturday, March 29th. This organization is one of the IICF Midwest Associate Board Nonprofit Partners in 2025. Here is a bit about their mission:
"The Woodlawn Food Security Health & Human Services Project dba The Woodlawn Project was established in 2021. The Woodlawn Project is organized for charitable food security, nutritional education, and dissemination of information regarding where to find available resources for healthcare, and other human services."
There are multiple jobs and shifts to choose from-- packaging grocery items beforehand for distribution, helping clients during the distribution, administrative tasks for the free blood pressure screening clinic on site. We recommend wearing closed toe shoes for this volunteer outing.
