The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) invites you to join us in the 7th annual IICF International Step Up Challenge as we promote teambuilding, wellness and friendly competition – and raise funds for children in need!
As you sign up, you can increase your impact for children in need with these two easy steps:
- Choose to pay the credit card processing fee as you sign up here.
- Submit the registration form/receipt that you will receive, by email after you sign up, to your company for matching funds to IICF.
This all adds up to more funds for children in need!
Your support of our unique 4-week exercise challenge helps create better futures for vulnerable children through hunger relief in the US and Canada and literacy in the UK.
IICF Step Up Challenge Winners
The top two teams and top two individuals will have the opportunity to designate an IICF grant to their charity of choice. Team challenges are based on the team's aggregate average during the active dates of this challenge. This average is calculated by adding together all steps that are reported by team members, and dividing it by the number of members on that team.
For Example:
On the first day of the challenge:
Member 1 - 7,000 steps
Member 2 - 3,000 steps
Member 3 - 15,000 steps
Member 4 - 0 steps
25,000 total steps / 4 Members = 6,250 step average (what will show on the leaderboard in a challenge).
The 2026 IICF International Step Up Challenge prizes are as follows:
1st Prize Individual Winner: $1,000 to nonprofit of choice
1st Prize Team Winner: $1,000 to nonprofit of choice
2nd Prize Individual Winner: $500 to nonprofit of choice
2nd Prize Team Winner: $500 to nonprofit of choice*Using the Step Up software, steps are automatically tracked using a device of your choice. Participants can also track a wide variety of activities to be converted to steps. You can view a full listing of compatible devices on our Step Up website at: https://stepup.iicf.org/
Participants must register in the app prior to the April 20th start date to have their steps tracked accurately. Registrants may join the challenge late, up until April 27th. If you join the challenge late, the platform will record zero steps for the days prior to you joining. After April 27th, the challenge is closed and new participants may no longer join.
