IICF International Step Up Challenge

IICF International Step Up Challenge

About This Campaign

The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation invites you to relieve stress and embrace your competitive side – and give back to your community - by participating in the first-ever IICF International Step Up Challenge! Proceeds from the challenge benefit the COVID-19 Crisis: IICF Children's Relief Fund, which supports nonprofit and charitable organizations serving children at risk of food insecurity, educational disruption, family homelessness and other circumstances exacerbated by the pandemic.

The top three winning teams or individuals completing the most steps during the challenge will have the opportunity to designate a grant to the nonprofit of their choice – and the opportunity to present the grant check to the nonprofit recipient. Please note, all teams' steps will be based on an average so that teams and individuals can fairly compete against each other.

The prizes are as follows:
1st Prize: $2,500 to nonprofit of choice
2nd Prize: $1,500 to nonprofit of choice
3rd Prize: $1,000 to nonprofit of choice

Additionally, each individual/team who completes the minimum stepping amount during the challenge duration (6,000 steps/day or 252,000 steps total) will be entered into a drawing to win the opportunity to designate a $250 grant to a nonprofit of choice.

Using the Walker Tracker software, steps are automatically tracked using a device of your choice. You can view a full listing of compatible devices to use for the challenge here.

To participate, please register either as an individual or a team for the challenge. After registering, please follow the instructions on on the PDF to register in the Walker Tracker software.  Participants must register in the app prior to the July 20th start date in order to have their steps tracked accurately. Registrants may join the challenge late, up until August 1st. If you join the challenge late, you will receive zero steps for the previous days of the challenge. After August 1st, you may no longer join the challenge.

If you have any issues or questions regarding the IICF Step Up Challenge or the Walker Tracker App, please contact Tiffany Ross at tross@iicf.com.

If you have completed registration, please click here to follow the instructions to get registered within the Walker Tracker software.
